• The art contest is managed by GVL Art Gallery

• The location of this contest is 1885 Taproom - 104 E Curtis St. Simpsonville, SC 29681

• The art contest voting will be during Sippin' Simpsonville on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 5:30PM-9:00PM

• Art should be original hand made work and not a print or copy

• Art should be12x12 size or smaller and able to display on a tabletop easel (artist provides) or in a tabletop frame.

• Art can be delivered to GVL Art Gallery (14 S Main St Greenville, SC 29601) during open hours (daily 8AM-4PM) between Friday, September 4, 2026 through Thursday, September 10, 2026.  

• Dropped off art should be labeled clearly with: artist name, title of piece, medium, sales price. Easels should be labeled with artist name.

• Leave art at your own risk in the designated storage space - a bin in the gallery closet

• Send your $30 fee and put in notes "9/11 contest" to either Venmo - https://venmo.com/u/gvl-art OR Cash App - https://cash.app/$gvlart   

• An artist can put as many pieces in the contest as they want for $30 for 2 pieces

• Art tags will be made by GVL Art

• Art sales will be collected and disbursed by GVL Art

• Art sold and unsold will be available for pick up the night of the event at the event location after voting ends at 9:00pm and art not picked up that evening will be available for pick up at GVL Art Gallery through Sunday, September 20, 2026. Any art left past this date is subject to being discarded.  ​

• Anybody can vote one time except for contest participants

• Votes will be counted when voting ends and the winner will be announced, contacted directly, and paid the $500 cash prize by Sunday, September 13, 2026 via Venmo or Cash App

• Artists who have sold art will be contacted via text
